ABOUT THE COMPANY

Konnectivity Contemporary Dance Company (KCDC) is the newest addition to the Rhode Island performing arts community. We as a company believe in the power of performance art and the connection dance provides physically, mentally and emotionally. Founded in 2020 by Artistic Director Katie Caramiciu, KCDC is dedicated to creating a space for artists to feel safe, included, celebrated and nurtured as performers and human beings. 

We are excited to grow within the community and start to share in experiences with audiences and collaborators alike.

KCDC premiered their debut repertory show The Human Narrative, in spring of 2021. Now in their second season, Konnectivity is excited to continue bringing dance opportunities to contemporary dancers in Rhode Island.

The world premiere of their 2nd repertory show, Self-Conceptions, debuted July 31, 2022 at The GAMM Theater in Warwick, Rhode Island.
